  • How much does it cost to join beepz.me?
  • Beepz.me is FREE to join. You can download the app by going to our website or scan any beepz.me QR code to be directed to the app download site.
  • Do I have to register?
  • Yes, you need to register. The benefit of registering is that the 'beepz' you have scanned and want to receive, will be stored securely. You will then be able to access them by logging into the app on different devices or get them back if you lose or change your phone.
  • What if I lose or change my phone?
  • As you will have registered with beepz.me when you first used beepz, your app data will be saved and you will be able to login and access any of your beepz on your new device.
  • Which companies are using/can use beepz.me?
  • Beepz.me has uses in every sector and almost every business, so whatever company, event or sector that you can think of it will probably be using beepz.me very soon, just keep your eye out. We are linking with more and more companies every day, but if you know of one you would like us to approach then let us know, or better still tell them they need to be using Beepz.me!
  • Will the businesses I connect with have any of my personal details such as my phone number or email address?
  • No. Beepz.me does not provide any personal details to other companies. All the company will know is their QR code has been scanned, they don’t know by who though.
  • Can I use the beepz.me app if I have no phone signal?
  • To scan the Beepz.me QR codes and “Add” them to your beepz list you will need an internet or WiFi signal. You do not need phone or internet signal to receive your beepz messages, however you will need this to receive any updates or additions that are made to the beepz you have scanned.
  • Am I able to scan any QR codes?
  • No. Look out for beepz.me enabled QR codes, these will all have the beepz logo with the QR code, so they are easy to spot. For examples of the QR codes and their possible uses just look at some of these.
  • If I decide I no longer want to receive a beepz message how do I cancel it?
  • You may cancel a beepz.me message or campaign at any time by deleting it from your "My Beepz" list in the app. You can either delete an individual beepz, snooze the beepz or delete a whole campaign (in "Settings"). Remember though, when you delete a campaign you will not get any more beepz associated with that QR code, so, if the company adds more messages, offers, discounts or information you will miss out.
  • Can I change the date and time for a beepz message?
  • Yes, you can customise most beepz messages, just go into “My Beepz”, open the upcoming beepz and select the icon that looks like a gear, you can then change the date and time of delivery. Some, for example informing you of when an event is starting you will not be able to change and these will not have the gear icon.
  • My beepz.me app is not working correctly, how do I fix this?
  • We are sorry that your app is not working correctly. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app first. If this does not fix the problem then please send us an email at feedback@beepz.me, let us know your name, phone model and the problem you are experiencing. We will get this fixed as quickly as possible.
  • What operating systems does the Beepz.me App work on?
  • Currently the Beepz.me App has been configured for iOS and Android devices, download it now from your App store. Don’t worry if you have a Windows or Blackberry phone we are working hard on developing the Beepz.me App for these operating systems, they should be available very soon

  • How much will it cost my business?
  • The cost depends upon your expected use and how many campaigns and messages you want to create and how far into the future you want to connect with your customers. Contact us, so we can discuss your requirements directly. For the first 12 months of your subscription we are offering, if you wish, a fully managed service where we do all of the message creation, editing and updating you require. All you need to do is supply us the information you want to go on the beepz messages, but don’t worry, we have easy to use forms for this
  • Are my Beepz.me QR codes branded for my business?
  • You can add your logo to the other sides of the Beepz.me QR code if you wish, however the QR code has a Beepz.me logo and must be with it at all times, so it is easy for your customers to identify it. The Beepz.me logo can be positioned at any of the four sides of the QR code. Your beepz messages will include your company logo as part of the message content.
  • How many Campaigns or Beepz.me QR codes can I create?
  • It depends upon your subscription, the best way to work this out it is to give us a call and then we can discuss with you what your requirements are, budget and the best package for you. The subscription based packages range from those that are limited to the number of campaigns and QR codes to the top package that is completely unlimited.
  • Can I update/edit the beepz my consumers receive after they have scanned the Beepz.me QR codes?
  • Yes, you are able to edit any of your beepz messages at any time. If we are managing your beepz account for you, you can supply us with the edit you want and then we will make the change. The next time the user’s app syncs with the database, the updated/edited message will update on their “My Beepz” list. You can also add additional beepz messages to your associated campaign which will then be added to the users “My Beepz” list when the app next syncs, this way you can keep your customers informed of events, information, offers and deals in the future.
  • Can I create a beepz for a particular date and time that the user is not able to edit the date or time of delivery?
  • Yes, you have the choice if you want to let the user be able to edit the date and/or time of delivery. This is useful because it can let the user change the delivery time to a more suitable time for them. However, we appreciate that some beepz will be needed to be delivered at an exact time and date, so in the message creation options you can disable the option of letting the user edit the particular beepz.
  • Where can I print my Beepz.me QR codes?
  • If we are managing your account we will supply you with your Beepz.me QR codes electronically as an image file, and then you can add them to whatever you like, either printed or electronic material. Depending upon where you are planning to place the images of the Beepz QR codes and the physical size of them we can supply ones of a suitable resolution. If you have taken on the management of your beepz account then you will be able to download the image file for your Beepz.me QR codes from your account area in the Beepz Company Portal.
  • Where can I put the Beepz.me QR codes?
  • Anywhere, you choose! You can add your Beepz.me QR codes to either digital or printed material. Our built in scanner enables the Beepz.me QR codes to be scanned off anything including paper, billboards, TV’s, computer screens and much more.
  • What happens if my customer sees my Beepz.me QR code on an email or website on their mobile device and cannot scan it?
  • If your customer is using their mobile device to the view your Beepz.me QR code(s) and they can’t then use the camera on their phone to scan the QR code, it is not a problem! We have developed beepz in such a way that in digital material it is possible to include a hyperlink with the Beepz.me QR code which works in exactly the same way as scanning the QR code and so the user can add it and benefit from it as normal.
  • I’ve already printed my marketing literature for the next event, can I still use Beepz.me?
  • Yes, we appreciate that some of your marketing campaigns may have been arranged many months ago and that your material may have already been printed. With beepz this is not a problem, we offer a service where we can arrange for your Beepz.me QR codes to be printed onto stickers which can be placed straight onto your material. Your customers then use beepz as normal and scan the stickers. We also offer a service where we can arrange for your Beepz.me QR codes to be printed on banners, posters, plaques etc. contact us for further details.
  • It is nearly the end of my first 12 months and you have been managing my account, what happens next?
  • It is nearly the end of my first 12 months and you have been managing my account, what happens next? You have a few choices. You can either continue as you have been and we will continue to manage your account, you can take on the management and creation of your beepz messages and campaigns yourself or you can cancel your subscription. We are sure you
  • What sort of information can I send in the beepz messages?
  • Basically you can send any information in a beepz message that you want your customers to receive and they want to receive. In addition to text content, your beepz message will also include your company’s logo (as long as you have added it in the company portal) and can also include a website link to any webpage your require. The website link is in the form of a button so you don’t need to include the lengthy website URL text. Shortly, you will also be able to include images into the beepz message content. There is however some content that cannot be sent, for example, the message content cannot be pornographic, racist, abusive, derogatory etc. and must obey the laws of the countries where the messages are being created and/or delivered.
  • How much content can I add to the beepz message?
  • The length of the beepz message is up to you. You are not limited to a certain number of characters and you choose what you want to add. There is a balance between providing too little information and creating messages that are too long. You know your customers better than anyone and know what they prefer, so you can choose how long you want your beepz message to be.
  • My Business already has an app why should I use Beepz.me?
  • Beepz.me is a new way for you to connect with your existing and new customers. Even if you have your own app, with Beepz.me it only has to be downloaded once for all businesses and sectors and then users can use it to scan all of the Beepz QR codes they want, increasing the likelihood of a customer scanning one of your Beepz QR codes. Beepz.me is going to be the app to use to get offers, information, updates and news for everything your customers are interested in. Even if you have an app, do you have one for both iOS and Android? If you only have one then you are missing out on some of your customers. Beepz works on both Android and iOS platforms so gives you a way to connect and link with your new and existing customers even if you don’t have an app on one of the main operating systems. We are working hard to create Beepz.me apps for both Windows and Blackberry platforms, so you don’t have too!
  • If I need to change the beepz message content can this be done?
  • Yes, if you are managing your own beepz account then you will be able to edit the content, delivery time/date and website link on any of your beepz messages as well as adding new beepz messages to a particular campaign. The App on the user’s mobile device will update these changes the next time it syncs. If you have taken advantage of our offer for us to manage your beepz account for the first 12 months of your subscription then all you need to do is let us know the changes you want us to make or the new messages you want to add and we will do it all for you.
  • Do customers need to keep scanning my Beepz.me QR codes to get new messages?
  • No, your customers only need to scan the Beepz.me QR code from one of your campaigns once, as long as they do not delete the campaign from their phones. Each campaign can have multiple messages associated with it and you can have as many campaigns as you wish. For example, in retail you could have a general information and offers campaign, you could have a campaign that is purely for Women’s wear and one that is purely for Men’s wear etc. From this you would have three Beepz.me QR codes to promote around store etc. and which your customers could choose to scan. Each of these would then be able to have multiple messages associated with it, providing offers, information, news etc. However, if your customer scanned the Men’s wear Beepz.me QR code they would not receive any information on Women’s wear and vice versa, therefore providing the user with the information they want to receive. You can add additional beepz messages or edit the content of your beepz messages and campaigns at any time.
  • Will my Beepz.me QR codes promote other businesses?
  • No, your Beepz.me QR codes are yours. Any customer that scans your Beepz.me QR code will only get the beepz messages associated with that campaign that you created. You control what the content of the beepz messages is and when they get delivered to your customer’s mobile device.
  • What happens if a user scans the QR code with a third party scanner or does not have the Beepz.me app installed?
  • If a user scans a Beepz.me QR code using a third party QR code scanner (or does not have the app installed) a link will appear on their screen which will direct them to the Download App page. Once the App has been downloaded, your customer needs to use the built in QR code scanner and scan the Beepz.me QR codes to make sure they “Add Beepz” and connect with you, to receive the information they want.
  • Do users mobile devices need to be connected to the internet or WiFi to get the messages?
  • To scan the Beepz.me QR codes and “Add” them to their beepz list, your customers will need an internet or WiFi signal. A huge advantage of Beepz.me is that the associated beepz messages are stored immediately once scanned on the users device so they do not need phone or internet signal to receive your Beepz messages. So if you are holding an event in the middle of a field with poor phone reception, don’t worry, you only need to make sure there is internet or WiFi coverage at the entrance or where you place the Beepz.me QR codes. We are able to provide you with a quote for creating a “Hotspot” area so your users can scan and get the benefit of your beepz messages, contact us for more information. If you edit or add additional beepz messages to your campaign your users will need an internet signal to receive these, however, the App will sync with the database to get these as soon as possible.
